ActivTours® Cookie Policy

1. Categories used

Necessary — these allow the website to work and stay secure. They include the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot mechanism, loaded only on the pages that carry the form, image delivery through Cloudinary, and recording your own privacy choice. They are always active and cannot be switched off.

Analytics — Google Analytics 4, to understand how the website is used overall. It is not loaded unless you explicitly accept this category; if you refuse or do not answer, it is not loaded at all.

Marketing — when you arrive from a campaign, we keep the campaign parameters (UTM) and the gclid, gbraid or wbraid identifiers in your browser so they can accompany your quote request. They are kept only if you explicitly accept this category.

2. What we actually store

The following are used on this website:

• activtours_consent_v2 — local storage, records your choice for each category. While this value is absent, neither analytics nor marketing is active;
• activtours_click_ids_v1 — local storage, keeps the campaign parameters described above. It is created only if you accept the Marketing category, and it is deleted the moment you withdraw that consent;
• storage created by Google Analytics — appears only after you accept the Analytics category. If you withdraw consent we stop using it and clear what we can reach in your browser; we cannot guarantee the removal of information already transmitted;
• Cloudflare Turnstile — the anti-bot mechanism, loaded only on the pages that carry the quote form.
• The website currently sets no cookies at all. Every value above is kept locally in your browser and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

3. Marketing and conversion measurement

With your consent, ActivTours® stores Google click identifiers (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) to associate your quote request with the advertisement through which you reached the website and to measure the effectiveness of its Google Ads campaigns.

If you do not accept the Marketing category, you can still submit a quote request. However, advertising identifiers will not be stored and the conversion will not be sent to Google Ads.

ActivTours® does not enable advertising cookies and does not use these identifiers for personalised advertising.

4. Transmission to Google Ads

When the Marketing category is accepted and the request contains exactly one valid click identifier, ActivTours® may transmit confirmation that the advertisement generated a quote request to Google Ads through a secure server-side process.

The transmission does not include your name, email address, telephone number or the message entered in the form. It uses only the click identifier and the technical information required to record the conversion and protect it against duplication.

5. Storage and withdrawal of consent

Click identifiers and the technical records associated with conversion measurement are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie Settings”. Withdrawing your consent for Marketing deletes the identifiers stored in your browser and prevents their use for future requests.

Withdrawing consent does not retroactively cancel a conversion already transmitted to Google Ads on the basis of the valid consent given when the request was submitted.

6. What this Policy covers

This Policy describes the technologies currently active on this website. At the time of publication, the current version does not load social network advertising pixels.

Further technologies — among them tag management tools or conversational assistance services — may be added later. When that happens, this Policy is updated before they are activated, together with the corresponding processing details.

7. Managing your preferences

You can manage your preferences from your browser settings: you can block or delete cookies, generally or for this website specifically.

Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the website works, including your ability to send an enquiry.

You can also clear locally stored information from your browser settings, by clearing browsing data for this website.

8. Opting out of traffic measurement

You can opt out of measurement through Google Analytics using the opt-out extension provided by Google, or by blocking this website's cookies in your browser.

9. Duration

Duration differs by technology: some information is kept only for the browsing session, other information for a longer period, until you delete it or until it expires as set by the provider.

Information kept in local storage stays in your browser until you clear it.

10. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Policy when the technologies used or legal requirements change.
